Work and life

I tried to go to work on Monday but no one was there. I worked 6 hours yesterday... I went into work at 9:30 today and no one was there. I left at 11:15... Grr... I just wanna work! My work this week stinks... Cutting out letters on the Ellison machine is long and painful. (well after 1000 it hurt.) I think I wanna go home and sleep. I'm gonna see if Tommy can pick up my paycheck. That'd be cool.

I'm sleepy. I'm not used to standing all day, so I got tired. But I am used to eating dinner at 11. I made baked salmon, brown rice, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower for dinner last night. It was yummy and filling. We're gonna have it for lunch today too. Yay leftovers.

I owe the lady at the convenience store 40 cents. I didn't have enough money for my coffee and my water. :( I'm going to bring it back to her since the people at work are taking too long for me to just wait around all day. I'll go back to work after that.

Tommy is really great. He treats me so well and gives the best hugs ever. Plus he likes my cooking, and I don't season things very often. I made an egg on toast for breakfast this morning. Then I wasn't hungry. So I asked the facilities staff if anyone wanted it and they said no... But it's okay because I got hungry eventually.

Closing and Grades

Grades came in today: BBBBA... Pretty good I guess, I just wish there were more As.

Closing our buildings stinks... Stinks bad.

Eww

Somehow I managed to miss work last night. I swore it was tonight, but no, it was last night... eww.

I got a call from my boss about 3:30pm while I was making lunch and waiting for the UPS man to show and was all like, "But I'm on duty tonight.?!" Sure enough I got the days mixed up. Now I've just got to make up for it.

Last night was good though. I made a new recipe called the Egg Smash Sandwich. It's yummy. And good for you too! :o)

Egg Smash Sandwich
1 Hard Boiled and Peeled Egg
1 Small Tortilla
Salsa
CHEESE

Put the boiled egg on the tortilla and fold. Then smash the egg until you can see the yolk.
Add salsa (should be the yummy chunky kind, and don't be stingy, it's salsa.)
Sprinkle or Pour cheese on.
Eat.

In other news my back pack came in today, but not after waiting on UPS to show. I was so excited. I hate packages that I have to sign for because that means waiting. Worst part was that they don't deliver to PO boxes so I had to wait at Tommy's. Lousy. But I did drink some yummy gingerbread coffee while I was waiting. YUM.

I didn't have any finals today, only check outs. Tomorrow I have my German final and a meeting with my advisor with whom I have been struggling with to get to understand me. Finally I think he understands and is trying to help me out. He still won't let me take GRMN 1001. I never wanted to take it anyways, that's why I never took it. But it was better than Latin or Spanish or even worse: French.

I'm going by the housing office tommarow to check on work.

Finals

Today finals started. Finals normally mean bummer. Today it wasn't so. I was not very nervous. Things just seemed to go smoothly. I think this is because I have recently denounced last minute cramming sessions. I don't stress and I typically do so much better. Who'da thunk it.

On top of all of that, the wireless in the union rocks. Life is truly good.
